"Give Your Young Athlete A Jump On Achieving Better Success In Their Sports"
Kids that learn sports skills at an early age, when coached properly, develop better technique and raise their potential for success down the road.
This is not news, and parents have realized this for generations.
If a young athlete enjoys a sport then they should start early and find coaches who can both raise their skill and enthusiasm for the game.
Fitness and sports training work in exactly the same fashion. At Power Source we run classes for kids starting at age 7, with the focus on being active and having fun while learning to properly develop key strength & speed skills.
Far from being too early to begin training, our Youth Development classes offer a long list of unique benefits that your child will receive by being a part of our program.
TOP 10 REASONS WHY YOUR CHILD WILL GREATLY BENEFIT FROM OUR YOUTH SPORTS TRAINING PROGRAM FOR KIDS AGES 7-10:
- This age level is the absolute best time to improve coordination, balance, and athleticism.
In fact, it is nearly impossible to make significant gains in these areas after age 14. Although it may seem strange to begin a workout program this young, when designed correctly it can be a life-changing opportunity.
- We have plenty of experince in running age-appropriate training for kids this young.
Taking into account short attention spans, little to no training experiece, and still developing physical frames, this is not something just anyone can do. Power Source has the experience, friendly staff, and the know-how to run young
athlete training programs effectively.
- They will build a base of strength to prevent future injuries and improve performance.
Nothing is more tragic than seeing a hard-working athlete suffer a serious injury. Although there will always be a level of danger in sport, training can help to lower the chance of incurring non-contact injuries both now and in the future.
- We maximize indivual attention by running small group sessions.
You won't have to worry about your child getting lost in the crowd with us. Power Source ensures that our strength development groups keep a low athlete-to-coach ratio 6-to-1 or less at all times.
- They will take advantage of age-appropriate power training to build speed and explosiveness.
One trait that can clearly be trained with these kids is explosive power. Done correctly, it can translate to improvement in many sport skills.
- We run engaging and fun sessions that kids actually enjoy!
I know this sounds crazy, but most of our kids actually look forward to their workouts. They have to be having fun regularly if this is going to be something they will continue to do over their lifetimes. These guys are just too impressionable at this age to be given a bad experience with exercise.
- They will learn proper movement skills before bad habits kick in.
Training guru Paul Chek, among many others, states that it takes about 300-500 repetitions of a physical skill (sprinting, cutting, etc.) for mastery if it is relatively new. To undo any bad habits that may have built up over the years takes 3,000-5,000 repetitions. The lesson here? Learning it right from the start makes it (LITERALLY!) 10 times easier to perfect a physical skill.
- It is a great opportunity for kids to make new friends.
You just cannot emphasize enough how important it is for them to interact and make friends. There is no shortage of great kids in our program currently to meet and get to know. They will also get to meet friendly and positive coaches that will make them feel comfortable in their new environment.
- Overcoming challenges builds higher levels of self-condifence.
In our Athlete Springboard Program, we challenge everyone with a wide range of drills, and no one will find them all easy. We give every kid the space they need to find solutions to these challenges themselves, which begins to build confidence.
- Your satisfaction is 100% guaranteed!
At Power Source, we work to not only meet, but exceed your greatest expectations from our programs. Feel free to try us out for 3 full sessions, and if you don't believe this program is worth every penny then we will refund your entire program fee.

Since we strive to keep a low athlete-to-coach ratio in our Athlete Springboard Program, space is always extremely limited.
If you are interested in having your child work with us, don't hesitate to take advantage of this unique opportunity!
“Anyone with a child in sports should have them attend this program. It teaches them everything they need to improve in the sports they already play, but that they would never have been taught in a team atmosphere.”

“This program is awesome, my son and nephew love it. We were looking for something different, something to keep them active during the summer and this fit the bill.
This is our second year with the program. The kids look forward to going; Jim makes it enjoyable for them. They are learning a lot about their bodies and what they need to do to keep them in shape. I can see my son’s coordination and balance improving and he feels like he is getting stronger
This is one of the best programs we have seen out there. We will definitely be back next year. “
