With a new, expanded lineup that delivers real results, Power Source can now help you target and improve all of your greatest developmental needs this summer.

Below, you will find a list of all of our 2011 summer programs, including links to find out more information, and to enroll.

 

SPEED & AGILITY CLINICS -
SUMMER SCHEDULE

LEVEL 1 PROGRAMS BEING OFFERED

May 31 & June 2 at Teamworks in Northborough
AGES: MIddle School & High School athletes
TIMES: 4:00 - 7:00 PM each day

July 11 through July 14 at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham
AGES: High School athletes
TIMES: 10:00 -11:30 AM each day

July 18 through July 21 at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham
AGES: Middle School athletes
TIMES: 10:00 -11:30 AM each day

July 25 through July 28 at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham
AGES: 8 - 10 year olds
TIMES: 10:00 -11:30 AM each day
(Age 8-10 participants will receive tips on how to use these skills in their sports instead of a structured workout program at the end.)

 

COST FOR ALL LEVEL 1 CLASSES:
$79 for 6-hour class and a take-home workout for participants to follow and continue building their skills after we are done.

August 8 through August 11 at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham
AGES: Middle School & High School athletes
TIMES: 10:00 -11:30 AM each day
REQUIREMENTS: Must complete the Level 2 class first AND receive an invitation to participate in our elite class.

STRENGTH & POWER TRAINING PROGRAMS
AT CUSHING ACADEMY & IN LEOMINSTER

AT CUSHING:
Mornings Monday - Friday from 7 - 10 AM starting June 20th
IN LEOMINSTER:
Evenings at select times Monday - Friday from 5:30 - 8:30 PM starting June 1st (specific times shown on the first registration page)


WHAT IS THIS? One hour of strength & power development training based on each athlete's unique needs. Workouts are personalized through the athlete's age, sport(s), testing results, and personal goals. Participants are taken through these workouts in groups of up to 12 athletes, with one coach for approximately every 4 athletes to provide quality individual instruction.

Previous particpants should note that we have broken out the running sessions into the more technique and results-based speed clinics (see above for details) and the less structured game-based fitness sessions (see below for details).

This option only includes the strength training hour.
All running programs are now being offered separately.

 

COST: $14 per session (Minimum of 10 sessions)

ALSO AVAILABLE:

GAME BASED CONDITIONING AT CUSHING ACADEMY

WHAT IS THIS? One hour of training that includes a proper warm up, pattern agility training and sprint training to go along with a series of movement-based games. The objective is to help athletes receive a solid conditioning workout while taking the boredom and monotony out of traditional endurance training. Training will be leveled so it is appropriate for a wide variety of age ranges.

Athletes do not need to schedule the conditioning sessions ahead, and can come work out without notice.

TIMES: One hour sessions run from 7:00 - 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday

COST: $20 for a package of 5 sessions.
(Those interested in participating in more sessions can change the quantity to any number of 5-session packages on the checkout page, then hit 'Re-Calculate' .)

LOWER-COST GROUP TRAINING CLASSES

Introducing a new series of age-level strength & power classes that offer a lower cost while still providing a high level of technical instruction, and a great workout!

(All programs run for 10 weeks at our Leominster facility,
starting the week of June 20th)

HIGH SCHOOL STRENGTH & POWER GROUP TRAINING

WHEN: Tuesdays from 6:30 - 7:30 PM
WHAT IS IT?: Classes begin with a group warmup for 10 minutes, followed by a 10-station workout focused on building total-body strength and power for high school athletes. Participants will learn how to properly execute Olympic lifts, plyometrics, core drills, and many weight training exercises.
COST: $99 for 1 day per week

MIDDLE SCHOOL STRENGTH & POWER GROUP TRAINING

WHEN: Mondays & Wednesdays from 7:30 - 8:30 PM
WHAT IS IT?: Classes begin with a group warmup for 10 minutes, followed by a 10-station workout focused on building advanced coordination, strength & power for middle school athletes. Participants will learn how to properly execute Olympic lifts, plyometrics, core drills, and many bodyweight and weight training exercises.
COST: $99 for 1 day per week, $198 for 2 days per week (10 week program)

AGE 7-10 ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT CLASSES

WHEN: Wednesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 PM
WHAT IS IT?: A fast-paced and enthusiastic hour of fitness targeted to the specific needs of younger athletes. Participants will receive a blend of speed, agility, strength, balance, power and coordination training in a variety of individual and team training drills.
COST: $99 for 1 day per week (10 week program)
