Below, you'll find links to our favorite websites and blogs pertaining to youth sports performance.

This is Lee Taft's blog, where you can find regular posts about how real speed is developed for sports.
Lee is truly one of the greatest speed development coaches you'll find anywhere. He'll give you the honest truth about what works, and what doesn't.

For more information on the cutting-edge science of Sports Axiology, Jeremy Boone's 'Inner Tactics' blog is the best there is.
And that makes sense, because Jeremy is the man pioneering this program to the sports world. He has brought it to elite tennis, golf and volleyball players, not to mention the NFL and many Division 1 college teams.
He also works with younger athletes, and can shed some great insight on how axiology can make a difference in your child or team's performance. His brief but thought-provoking posts will open your eyes to a better way to develop athletes.

Power Source uses the Functional Movement Screen when assessing the injury potential of an athlete.
This is a simple, yet highly effective series of tests to detect any areas of movement deficiency. It is used by many pro and Division 1 college programs to help identify and correct any injury risks before they become a bigger problem.
This is their website, not a blog, but they do have pleny of articles and a running forum where you can find a ton of useful information regarding this great tool.

The International Youth Conditioning Association, or IYCA, has quickly grown into the leading authority on youth sports trianing. This link takes you to their website, where you can access their blog from the top menu.
The founder, Brian Grasso, updates this blog regularly with quality information. And he is a highly opinionated person, so his posts are rarely boring.
Brian has become a worldwide leader in the field mainly because he truly cares about the athletes he and his organization work with, and he is extremely knowledgeable. This blog will rarely disappoint you (except that it is occasionally hard to access).
